Purgatory of Love
Voyage was quite long, a perfect song
Deep it went, to greater heights it was
A peak of no man’s reach
It was paradise in romance, nourished and so rich
A sweet dream with love blind, one walked on water and had the sky to feasibly touch
Like Canaan, water was wine
Now it’s told as a tale
Maybe the heavens deemed it a fail
Our carriage went off rail
It’s now fossil, but I see the dark inked trail
Ohhh matrimony, a mission impossible
Staring at the reaper, one said
Why give a ho a heart when she’d rather have a purse?
Why give her an inch, when she’d rather have nine?
Then soon she goes, “man, I don’t have time”
But all along you’ve all been fine
Is she not a ho when she’s ploughed?
Out of curiosity, a brother asked
That’s the conflict of the men’s house
A cat entered wolf’s territory
Now it’s wars, pure purgatory
